The Literacy Council does not receive any state or federal support so we rely on the generosity of the community to help
provide a large share of the financial resources needed to help determined adults reach their goals.

Donate Now! For every $1 spent on adult literacy, our community saves $7.41 in reduced social
service costs. (from ProLiteracy)
That is less money paid out for social problems because
individuals become higher wage earners, pay more taxes, reduce the drain on our medical systems from better understanding
of preventive care, medication, and doctor's instructions.
